A good cleaning of the kitchen and breakfast!

I was up early here, 5am, slept great when I slept, but up way too early. The sun just about the come up over the homes and buildings. Which there aren’t many of. Today is supposed to 80 degrees and sunny. Amazing, again, it’s very quiet and the whole building to myself while waking up.

No judgement here, but this common kitchen needed a big cleaning and I am the woman to do it. I needed to process through my dreams, I needed coffee, and I don’t cook until my “space” is clean; Tables, floors, and sinks. Lori, one of the owners, said, “make yourself comfortable, Carrie.” And I did. Dishes cleaned and drying on the rack next to the sink, stove wiped down, awesome griddle fired up and scraped down, items put away in an “organized, but yet easy place for moving somewhere else if Lori wanted to move stuff back, and all the extra teas and baggies of snacks I made so many of them, were set out for others to grab, but mostly for me to grab when I want them. Floors swept and I’m done cleaning. Time for another cup of coffee…yes! It’s beautiful, quiet, sunny, fresh air, and I still am in awe I found this awesome hotel.

Now, time for food….I dig through the fridge and see bacon and eggs. Perfect! I prep the food with love for myself and bless and pray over it to fulfill my daily need for this moment. Bacon cooks up beautifully, not too crisp, yet just enough for that salty, smoky taste to hit the tongue. The eggs cook up perfectly after the griddle has been scraped again. I crack the first egg, and lo and behold, I have a double yolk! Yes! The second egg cracked and it’s a single yolk, but they are beautiful, natural, and over medium cooked to my pleasure. I sit, pray again, and eat. No toast, no salt and pepper needed, the little of bacon grease helped the eggs that way. What a way to start my day!

Off to the “plunges” now!

I am a woman of God, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and a Life Coach. I recently started this path and completed my certification in September of 2020. Since then I have been living a life I love within four major quadrants of my life; Health, Vocari (vocation), Time/Money/Freedom, and Relationships; All of these being worked on daily in small action items and tons of prayer. I spent some time between October of 2020 to March of 2021 in my hometown of Champaign, IL and witnessed God's word and work on the healing of my mother after a very invasive procedure. This led me to Midland, SD and found The Stroppel Hotel and Hot Baths where God, Healing, and overall family wellness is starting to kick off for many others to come. In collaboration with the hotel, Christian Life Coaching, and Sustainable Home Life there will be services and support with healing and structures for families of any background. Follow me for more to come!
