I sat with a friend of mine, Pat Allen, and we discussed all the spots to hit along the way to LA and back to Madison. I discovered I need a mega atlas, I need to have supplies, I need to make lists, I need to pack it all, and as Pat says, “ If you start North, go North, then circle around down South. Be efficient, don’t lose time, and enjoy Mother Nature the most you can.”
As for me, I am and will always be led by God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus and the blood he shed on the cross for me. This declaration, this path, this way of life has given me Love, Acceptance, Forgiveness, Grace, Knowledge, and most of all Fun! I will write my lists, I will prepare, but I will do as I am led once on the road.
I am starting out April 5th and traveling out west. I don’t have a time frame, except maybe be home in time for my May 4th haircut with Alyssa Maier in Sauk City, WI. Yes, that is truly my only pending appointment to be in Wisconsin for. All my other appointments, calls, clients, and volunteering can happen via a phone, zoom meeting, or email! What freedom!
I will be visiting national parks, monuments, mountains, and family members in all different areas along the way or back from the west. These are my only “pending” time frames and those are flexible for sure.
